Your host’s Bob and Mary Redpath will make every endeavour to ensure your time spent on our farm is a memorable & enjoyable experience. Wairata Station is a vast peaceful mountainous wilderness within reach of New Zealand’s main centre, Auckland. Wairata Station is a large hill country farm ranging from lush river flats up to towering open peaks. The station runs over 400 head of Angus cattle and 1500 Perendale sheep.

Our two Chalets, built in 2006, are situated in a field beside the Waioeka River. They have a quiet scenic outlook and are fully self-contained. One room with adjoining toilet/shower and a deck out front to upon and enjoy the view. The kitchenette contains a small fridge, gas hob, sink and microwave. The Chalets can be either two single beds or we can make them into a double bed if requested. The Chalets suit a quiet getaway weekend or a serene retreat for a few days fishing, tramping or hunting.
