Wairata Station is a vast peaceful mountainous wilderness within reach of New Zealand’s main centre, Auckland. Wairata Station is a large hill country farm ranging from lush river flats up to towering open peaks. The station runs over 400 head of Angus cattle and 1500 Perendale sheep.

Our recently refurbished farm cottage is situated on a large flat section adjacent to the Waioeka River. It has a quiet peaceful outlook and is fully self-contained. With two and a half bedrooms it can comfortably sleep 11. It has a large open plan kitchen/dining/living area. The kitchen contains everything you could need including a full-sized fridge, oven, cook-top, sink and microwave. One bedroom contains a queen bed and the other bedroom and a half contain 3 bunk beds between them. The cottage suits anyone looking for plenty of space to relax in and the large size of the section means that there is plenty of room for families.
